An error has occurred when attempting connection to the specified device.

Check that the baud rate of the device agrees with the board baud rate. Check that the device is properly connected to the network; make sure the device is receiving power from the network. Inspect the device definition to see that the I/O type, access mode, and size of I/O are correct. Press RESET on the teach pendant to re-attempt connection.
