Description

The robot EtherNet/IP scanner either did not receive a ForwardOpen Reply message from the remote adapter, or the robot scanner received a ForwardOpen Reply message from the remote adapter indicating a failure to establish an I/O connection.

Verify the scanner settings in the robot's Scanner Configuration screen are correct--review the manual of the remote adapter device for the correct settings. Verify that the remote adapter does not currently have a duplicate explicit owner connection (another scanner device already connected to the same assembly instances). Check the remote adapter device and verify that EtherNet/IP is enabled, and that the device is accessible on the network. Take note of the hexadecimal code in the robot alarm text and lookup the error in the robot scanner manual. Press RESET to restart the robot scanner connection.
