A TPE instruction was programmed to use a tool change equipment, but that tool was not attached to the arm.

Remedy

Make sure that the proper tool is attached to the arm before attempting to use it. Tool changes are done with TPE macros. Make sure that a call to the correct macro is made before attempting the SPOT or BACKUP operation.
