Description

The controller door has been opened, emergency stop signals have been detected for a short time, or a hardware connection has been mis-wired.

Remedy

Close controller door and press RESET. If the reset is not effective, correct the hardware connection.

Field diagnosis

Cabinet door detected open, or a transient emergency stop signal; a teach pendant of a different specification from the cabinet (RIA/CE versus standard) causes the same code.

What to check

  • Close the cabinet door (and the auxiliary cabinet door, if present), then reset.
  • Check the door switch and its wiring.
  • Verify that the connected teach pendant matches the safety specification of the controller.
  • Note: A teach pendant borrowed from another line is a classic cause of SRVO-105 appearing at power-up.
