FANUC SRVO-207 (“SERVO TP switch abnormal or Door open”): The SVEMG signal is detected while the fence is opened and the teach pendant is enabled and the Deadman switch is not released. First check: Close the controller door.

Description
The SVEMG signal is detected while the fence is opened and the teach pendant is enabled and the Deadman switch is not released. Or, the controller door is opened while the fence is opened and the teach pendant is enabled and the Deadman switch is not released
Remedy
Close the controller door. If door is not opened, correct the wiring on SVEMG. Or correct the enable switch and deadman switch on the teach pendant. Press RESET. Refer to the ma intenance manual for details.
Field diagnosis
The emergency stop line is cut although no stop device is actuated; the teach pendant switch or the cabinet door are the prime suspects.
What to check
- Replacement sequence, to be followed in order: teach pendant, teach pendant cable, operator panel/control box, emergency stop unit, servo amplifier.
- Do not replace the amplifier before testing the teach pendant and its cable.
- Note: On R-J3iB the code is common with a teach pendant cable crushed under a cabinet door.
