Description

The teach pendant deadman switch is released while the teach pendant is enabled. And miswiring on SVEMG is detected.

Remedy

Power off. Correct the wiring on SVEMG Power on. Press the teach pendant deadman switch. Press RESET. Refer to the maintenance manual for details.

Field diagnosis

With the teach pendant enabled, the deadman switch was released (or squeezed fully) without the emergency stop line opening.

What to check

  • Replace the teach pendant first, then the teach pendant cable.
  • If the fault persists, the main board or the emergency stop board is at fault (full backup before replacement).
  • Power cycle to clear.
  • Note: A damp teach pendant, or one whose deadman switch has taken a knock, gives this code rather than SRVO-003.
